Trex – also spelled Trix and known in Arabic as تركس – is a trick-taking card game for four players using a standard 52-card deck. Each player is dealt 13 cards. The game is split into kingdoms: in every kingdom one player is the owner and picks the order of five different contracts. Four contracts are about avoiding penalty cards, and one – Trex itself – is a race to get rid of your cards first.
Because the owner chooses when to play each contract, good Trex is all about reading your hand: call Diamonds when you are short in diamonds, save Trex for a hand full of jacks, and double the Queen your opponents are forced to take.
These are the exact values used in the app. The four penalty contracts add up to −500 points per kingdom – exactly what one Complex deal costs – while a Trex round hands out +500.
| Contract | Goal | Points |
|---|---|---|
| King of Hearts | Don't take the King of Hearts. | −75 (−150 if doubled) |
| Queens | Don't take any of the four queens. | −25 each (−50 if doubled) |
| Diamonds | Don't take diamond cards. | −10 per diamond |
| Lutoosh (Slaps) | Take as few tricks as possible. | −15 per trick |
| Trex | Build suits up and down from the jacks and empty your hand first. | +200 / +150 / +100 / +50 |
Each of the four players owns one kingdom and plays all five contracts in the order they choose.
King of Hearts, Queens, Diamonds and Lutoosh are scored together in a single hand, followed by a Trex round.
Hold a Queen or the King of Hearts? Double it. Whoever takes it loses double – and you collect the base points.

Yes. Trex, Trix and تركس are the same Levantine card game: four players and five contracts – King of Hearts, Queens, Diamonds, Lutoosh (Slaps) and Trex.
Exactly four, each dealt 13 cards from a standard 52-card deck. In the app, empty seats are filled by AI players, so you can always start a game.
In Kingdom each player owns a kingdom and chooses all five contracts once – 20 rounds in total. In Complex the four negative contracts are played together in a single deal, and the owner also plays one Trex round.
In Queens and King of Hearts, a player holding the card can double it. Whoever takes a doubled card loses twice the points (−50 per queen, −150 for the King of Hearts) and the player who doubled gains the base value.
